Christina Killian-Benigno is a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Hematology/Oncology Department at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. She has worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years. Her main passion is working with children/young adults with Sickle Cell Disease and providing education to patients, families, the community and anyone who will listen. She and her Hematology team are affectionately known as the Heme Queens around the hospital/community.
She lives in San Diego with her husband and their two kids. Her other "full time job" is coaching their baseball teams and going to as many Padres games as possible.
