Antje Barreveld, MD is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Tufts University School of Medicine. She is Medical Director of the Pain Management Services, co-Founder and Director of Education and Outreach for the Substance Use Services, and Anesthesiologist with Commonwealth Anesthesia Associates at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. Her clinical, leadership, and research interests are in pain education, digital advances in pain care, chronic pelvic pain, acute and chronic postoperative pain, and safe practices in co-managing pain and addiction. Dr. Barreveld is President-elect of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM) and was selected as a 2020 Mayday Pain & Society Fellow.
