Erin T. Carey is a fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon. Following her surgical subspecialty training at the University of North Carolina (UNC), she also earned a masters of science in clinical research (MSCR) at the Gillings School of Public Health and completed additional training with pain medicine at UNC. Dr. Carey treats the full scope of pelvic pain issues including endometriosis care. Dr. Carey uses a shared medical decision making model to create a medical and surgical plan that is deeply aligned with the patient’s personal treatment goals and supported by the medical literature and best-practice guidelines.
