Karen Sova has 47 years of nursing experience, 22 as a nurse practitioner - She has additional training as a certified occupational health nurse specialist. NP Sova completed a 300 hour medical acupuncture program 2012 and has a national certification in auriculotherapy/auricular acupuncture. In addition, she has completed a 500 hour course in myofascial dry needling trigger point therapy. NP Sova developed the auriculotherapy/auricular acupuncture program that is currently the standard in the Occupational Medicine Clinic at NIH.
