Dr. Kwabena Agyepong is an Associate Professor at Alcorn State University, specializing in Applied Science and Technology with a focus on artificial intelligence and data science. He served as Chairperson of the Department of Advanced Technologies at Alcorn State University for over a decade. As Director of the Systems Research Institute, he spearheaded efforts in technology-based economic development in southwest Mississippi. In his current role, he directs the institute's research activities, focusing on cutting-edge technology and systems research.
Dr. Agyepong has been the principal or co-principal investigator on numerous prestigious grants and contracts, securing significant funding for advanced research.
