Jeff Gudin, MD is faculty at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Yale University School of Medicine and his fellowship at the Yale Center for Pain Management. For nearly 20 years, Dr. Gudin directed a Pain and Palliative Care program in New Jersey. He has authored numerous peer reviewed publications, abstracts and posers, and has assisted in drug development, clinical trial design, and post marketing research for numerous analgesics. Dr Gudin was principal investigator on an NIH funded analgesic research project through the HEAL Initiative, by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) to study the pharmacology and safety of a novel molecule/ formulation for the treatment of pain. Dr. Gudin remains active in teaching and research and has lectured internationally on pain management, palliative care and addiction medicine. He was previous Co-Editor in Chief of the journal Practical Pain Management.
