Central sensitization syndromes (CSS) include chronic low back pain, headaches, irritable bowel, and chronic bladder pain. CSS are a common reason for chronic pain and disability. Recognizing the presence of nociplastic pain with these conditions is key to successful management. I will review the diagnosis and treatment of nociplastic pain.
